In the absence of Rishabh Pant, who was recovering from his injuries following the life-threatening accident, Australian opener David Warner was given charge of the team and he failed to impress as a leader. Out of 14 matches, Delhi Capitals (DC) won just 5 and the investment in the youngsters didn’t prove to be fruitful, which was one of the biggest reasons behind the failure of the team in the season.
